25 Sep Accident: AA5 G-BBSA A resident light aircraft suffers engine failure on takeoff, followed by a suspected stall and impact with terrain from a height of 300ft, injuring the three occupants, two of them seriously. We've had many minor incidents over the years, but this is believed to be only the second accident during the civil history of the airport. |
