The fact that so few highlights could be selected from 60+ news articles over the year demonstrates the benefit of the airport having a public face in Ben Houchen. There were "spotlight" articles whether it be people or departments (ATC enjoyed two), as well as 'slow news day' articles about certain types of aircraft seen in the regions skies by fascinated members of the public. There were also duplicated articles where the same topic was covered twice weeks or months apart. A lot of it is needless and other airports would be well justified if they felt frustrated at how we are managing to command headlines but you can't put a price on keeping the airport name in the publics minds!
