London Heathrow
29 September 2022
Two of my colleagues over at Swissport wanted to visit the famous Myrtle Avenue and knowing my interest in aviation transcends the workplace they graciously invited me along. So some cheap train tickets later and off we went.
On the day the weather was good having not been in the days leading up to the trip, but Heathrow were not landing on the favourable runway, luckily they were landing in the preferred direction however, so on arriving in London we spent a couple of hours doing the touristy stuff until the runway change at 3pm.
BA/Virgin are limited to only those Chris needed, and some of the below were noted from central London rather than Heathrow itself.
Antonys photos can be found here.
A very pleasant work day out that combined the company of friends with the pleasure of the hobby, capped off with an upgrade to first class for the train journey home.
